The eViews course is a "how-to", technical course where you'll learn the nuts and bolts of image acquisition and optimization. The course will cover probe positioning, anatomy identification, image acquisition and trouble-shooting. The skills you will gain from an eViews course are immediately adaptable to the clinical setting. Click here for course details
An eCase is a simulated patient case. Users are granted access to a library of eCases, where FoCUS (Focused Cardiac Ultrasound) knowledge is applied in a virtual clinical setting. In each eCase you'll be asked to review a patient's simulated medical chart including medical history, clinical assessments (such as labs, x-rays, ultrasound clips, ECG, etc.) to identify a pathological condition or confirm that no pathology is present.
An eClip is an ultrasound video clip of an actual patient with either a normal or a pathological condition. Access to our library offers users an interactive and engaging learning experience, geared towards developing image interpretation and pattern recognition skills. Users are asked to systematically interpret eClips for quality and anatomy, and to identify abnormalities and pathological patterns.
The eTopic course is a theoretical, scientifically-sound, highly interactive course. eTopics for FoCUS (Focused Cardiac UltraSound) is a methodological evaluation of the patient in shock. This course is designed for clinicians who wish to improve their diagnostic and interpretive skills in the management of the critically ill patient. The course will review the primary etiologies of shock, including:
