The Lung Ultrasound Course teaches in detail the physics of lung ultrasound and how artifacts are generated, which is then used to teach how ultrasound is used to diagnose the various lung pathologies seen in the critically ill patient.
Course Curriculum
This is a comprehensive course which explains in detail the physics of lung ultrasound which serves as the basis for diagnosis of various lung pathologies. It is designed for novice clinicians who wish to learn about lung ultrasound or for those who are familiar with it but would like to enhance their knowledge and improve their diagnostic skills.
The lung ultrasound course discusses all aspects of lung ultrasound, including:
- Introduction – Part I
- Introduction – Part II
- Pneumothorax
- Consolidations
- Pleural effusion
- Interstitial syndrome
- Lung Ultrasound Cue cards
Course Format
- The course includes a pre and post-test and 8 topic modules utilizing ultrasound clips and images.
- The learning process is engaging and interactive and include high-quality animation videos to explain complex concepts.
- Each module ranges between 30-45 minutes, for a total of 4-5 hours for the complete
