Dr. Johann Patlak attended the University of Vermont College of Medicine before moving to Boston to complete an anesthesiology residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. He stayed on at BIDMC to complete fellowships in Critical Care and Neurocritical Care. He currently lives and works in Rhode Island as an anesthesiologist and intensivist at Rhode Island Hospital, RI.

He is a clinical instructor in anesthesiology at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.
